In 1981, Eileen Hadaway was the first to bring a food product into the Christian book and gift stores. Initially the business began with Scripture Cookies in the shape of butterflies with a Scripture message sandwiched In the middle. They were a quality pastry loved by all, but a costly venture for a new company to undertake. As a result they are no longer available.

In 1982, God blessed Eileen with another idea - Scripture Tea.

Each tea tag would have a Scripture message on it. Quality of tea and packaging were of the essence. Testimonies and thank-you letters were pouring in from all around the world. Now people call Eileen the "Tea Lady." She hears stories of afternoon teas and bible studies where Scripture Tea is shared.

Eileen states, "Scripture Tea is not about us, but about God. I have always kept myself in the background because I haven't done anything great. I was just carrying out the Lord's great idea.

SPECIAL THANKS:
To Dr. Jack Van Impe who gave me a desire to learn and share Scripture In 1977, when I accepted Christ in my heart at his Crusade in Buffalo, NY.

To Pastor Tommy Reid, of the Tabernacle in Orchard Park, New York - Who taught me "Without a vision, a man perishes", and also gave me the confidence that if God could use a donkey to speak to Balaam in the Old Testament, then surely He could use a Cookie or a Tea Bag to reach those He loves.

To Pastor Karl Eastlack, of Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church, Clarence, NY - Who taught me "Being confident of this very thing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6.

To Dr. Joel Hunter, my pastor at Northland Distributed Church who encourages me each week to hang in there because, "the things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Luke 18:27.

The Main Question I Get In Every Letter Is: Where Can I Find It?

My desire Through this Web Site is to help people "find" SCRIPTURE TEA either by encouraging stores to keep it stocked, or by mail order.

My desire through Scripture Tea is to not only give you a "taste" of God's Word, but more importantly to give you a hunger to have more of His love and comfort by turning to His bible for guidance.

May God richly bless you, and all those to whom you choose to bless with Scripture Tea.
